All about Ethan

Nature’s biggest fan

My Mission

I am currently the Head Guide at Katmai Wilderness Lodge where I lead intimate groups into a remote corner of Katmai National Park for widelife and bear encounters both on the boat and in the field!

I am a passionate outdoorsman, 200-ton USCG Captain, amateur field photographer and seasoned Alaska guide who loves providing people with unforgettable experiences in the wilderness.  My love of nature and sense of adventure originally drew me to Alaska, where I have spent more than a decade guiding both on and off the water.  I thrive on sharing my curiosity in this unique corner of the world.
